DPH MCH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION

The MCH ( Maternal and Child Health) division of the DPH hosted an international workshop and conference at their headquarters in Egmore, Chennai. The conference was attended y dignitaries and healthcare industry representatives from many Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.

The focus of the workshop was on how new technology and innovations can help maternal and child healthcare and ultimately ring down the infant and maternal mortality rates. Since CureSelect Healthcare had already been carrying out a pilot program for antenatal monitoring with our Bluetooth-enabled remote health monitoring kits and corresponding mobile applications we were invited to present our product and explain how our solutions worked.

We demonstrated how our application could be used in the field even without the need for internet connectivity as all our remote monitoring devices use Bluetooth for data transfer to phones or tablets. They were impressed by the automatic flagging that is built into our application wherein the mothers are flagged as high-risk based on various parameters such as height, weight, Hemoglobin levels, past medical history, blood pressure, or blood sugar.

We had the pleasure of meeting many of our current clients at this meeting and our demos here have led to a fruitful and mutually beneficial business relationship.Our founder and CEO was also given an opportunity to be the keynote speaker at this august venue and present his findings and experience in applying telemedicine to the field of neurology and emergency care, both in the US and in India.
