Pawsitive Impact: Our Company's Dedication to Animal Welfare
We at CureSelect Healthcare have always been steadfast animal lovers. With our founders and staff all being pet parents themselves we were inspired to expand the reach of our telemedicine software to the veterinary field. India has typically had many strays (both cats and dogs) and the attitudes toward them vary from indifference to downright hostility.
We have heard many horror stories of stray animals being cruelly treated and suffering. We wanted to mark our entry into the Pets SaaS space by assisting the heroes who regularly feed, defend, and care for these stray animals. We were fortunate to connect with the owners of MOBONE, an indigenous and 100% natural dog/cat food production company.

How CureSelect's PETSYNC Initiative Made a Difference to Stray Animals?
We put our heads together and wanted to do something to help these strays and the kind people who care for them. After many phone calls to various animal welfare shelters and frontline rescue workers, we realized that the main concerns for people feeding and looking after strays were food, medicines, and access to tablets and vaccines.
We immediately set out to collect as much food as we could by reaching out to pet food vendors and distributors. We were overwhelmed by their kindness and contributions, We at CureSelect decided that in the name of the Pet Veterinary and E-commerce platform that we were launching called PETSYNC, we would match the amount of food donated again from our pockets. We managed to collect 50 kgs of food and we matched that amount with 50 kgs of food of our own.
Street Paws: Nourishing Hope for Our Furry Friends
From the morning of 15th August 2023, we started handing out food packages to people who had booked them through our Whatsapp group and we had many people thanking us for providing food flavoring, medicines, and supplements for the street animals. They shared the incredible stories of how they started on their journeys as animal advocates and it was incredibly fulfilling to see the food packets dwindling even before we had crossed lunch hours.
Our staff also felt happy that they could meet and connect with fellow pet lovers and it is an Independence Day celebration that we will hold dear to our hearts.
